Jonathan S. Chung obtained a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of California, Irvine in 2011. He received his Juris Doctor from the William S. Boyd School of Law in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2017.
During law school, Jonathan developed strong legal writing and research skills serving as an Articles Editor for Boyd School of Law's Gaming Law Journal. He was also selected as a fellow for both the law school's Public Interest Fellowship and for the Attorney General's Janet D. Steiger Fellowship, and worked on access to justice and high-profile national consumer protection cases.
Outside of law school, Jonathan spent each semester building practical legal experience as a Student Attorney with the Thomas and Mack Small Business and Nonprofit Legal Clinic, a judicial extern to the Honorable Magistrate Judge William G. Cobb in Reno, Nevada, and a student extern at the Las Vegas City Attorney's Office.
Prior to joining The Dickerson Karacsonyi Law Group, Jonathan worked at the Wynn Las Vegas as a law clerk before being admitted to the Nevada State Bar.
Jonathan earned second place in the 8th Annual Saltman In-House Negotiation Competition (2014), and has volunteered with multiple legal organizations including Nevada Legal Services, Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, and the Federal Public Defenders. Jonathan was awarded Legal Aid's 2016 Public Interest Law Student of Distinction. He continues to volunteer with Legal Aid's Educational Surrogate program.
